Do you recall our call to prayer last month for our International Consultant, David Baer? Today we want to share with you about another of our valued consultants: Daniel Owens. The roles of our consultants are varied and unique; but all share a similar focus in furthering excellence in theological education around the world.
Daniel (BA, Wheaton College; MDiv, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, PhD, Wheaton College) is our Regional Consultant for Vietnam. He has been involved in ministry in Vietnam for more than twenty years. Prior to his pastoral current role at New Covenant Church in Naperville, Illinois, USA, he taught at Hanoi Bible College and Singapore Bible College. Although primarily focused on the ministry of New Covenant Church, he continues to be a resource for Hanoi Bible College, to write for Vietnamese-speaking Christian readers, and periodically to teach Old Testament courses in Vietnamese online. He is married to Heather and they have two teenage sons.

Will you join us in prayer for Daniel and the work he’s involved in?
- Pray for strength and God’s provision of people on the ground to help Hanoi Bible College become self-sufficient in managing its IT-related services.
- Pray also for Hanoi Bible College to meet the requirements set out by the Asia Theological Association for accreditation, which include significant governance improvements.
- Pray for stamina and wisdom for Daniel, Thien, and Hao, who are working together on a Hebrew-Vietnamese dictionary.
- Please pray for our International Consultants, David Baer, Mariel de Luca Voth, and Daniel Owens, that they will have good health and energy as they provide support, solutions, care, and educational opportunities to others, working tirelessly to further transformational theological education.
