One of the joys we are privileged to participate in at reSource is what might be called a double blessing. We receive generous gifts from donors and then we receive greetings of gratitude from the recipients of those gifts. In this long winter season of COVID-19, as we have sought to help our partner schools develop their online teaching capacity (cf. Shoulder to Shoulder strategy), we have received multiple expressions of thanks.
“On behalf of the faculty members of MTSC, I would like to thank you for assisting us with our IT needs. Your help came to us in an unexpected way, once again confirming that God supplies all our needs. We were in need of 5 more laptops for faculty and at that desperate hour you helped us, and we praise God for His help through reSource Leadership. ”
Madras Theological Seminary and College (MTSC), India
“I take this opportunity to thank God for your timely and generous support in helping me to get a laptop even during this crisis period. Without your support, it would have been nearly impossible for me to conduct online classes. Because of the lock down and no public transportation, I was finding difficulty in getting to the college to use the equipment there. Hence, your support is of great value to me as I was able to continue my teaching ministry from home and equip the students for their future ministry.”

“The nine laptop computers that reSource funded are going to play a great role in our theological education. They were partly the basis on which the Government of Uganda allowed UCU to conduct theology classes online. Thank you so much for your timely help in acquiring the laptop computers.”
Christopher Byaruhanga, Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology and Dean of Bishop Tucker School of Theology (part of Uganda Christian University (UCU), Mukono, Uganda
“By the grace of God and the generous gifts from Overseas Council Australia and ReSource Leadership International in Canada, we were able to purchase the necessary equipment. So far we have been able to film a course on “The Pentateuch” for second year students (see photo below). We expect that by the end of this semester (January 2021), seven courses will be filmed and edited. The AST Distance Learning Project includes filming all the 48 courses which form the Diploma and Bachelor’s degrees. Half of these courses involve 24 lectures and the other half 36 lectures (60 minutes each), with a total sum of 1440 hours. The project will save thousands of dollars spent on the transportation and accommodation of faculty and students. Additionally, AST will be able to reach those in need of theological education in the Arab World and beyond. “
Shady Anis, Professor, Alexandria School of Theology (AST), Egypt
