Peter DenHaan
President Emeritus
Peter is passionate about investing in Christian leaders in the Majority World and loves connecting with reSource’s like-minded donors, staff, and board. Peter and his wife Diana have five children and twelve grandchildren. After 12 years of selfless service as reSource president, Peter is excited about his continued work with reSource as President Emeritus.
Christopher M. Hays, PhD
President
Christopher previously served as a missionary and professor of New Testament at the Biblical Seminary of Colombia. He has worked in projects ranging from authoring scholarly volumes to establishing church-based ministries to victims of forced migration. He holds degrees from Wheaton and Oxford. His most recent book in English is Eight Million Exiles. He and his wife Michelle have three children and live in North Carolina.
Evan R. Hunter, PhD
Executive Vice President
Evan’s passions for the Church and the seminary shape his work as Executive Vice President, where his work focuses on integration across the organization. Evan has worked as a missions pastor and served in campus ministry. He earned his PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where his research focused on doctoral programs in the Majority World. Located in Minnesota, Evan and his wife, Becky, have four sons.
Marcos Orison de Almeida, PhD
Vice President
Marcos is an ordained Presbyterian minister. He received a Leader Studies scholarship for his PhD at Fuller. He leads strategic initiatives with global theological schools, inlcuding the BiblioTech program. He also serves as a faculty member at South American Theological Seminary in Londrina, Braziland as an Evaluator of Theological Institutions and Courses for the Brazilian Department of Education.He and his wife Patricia have two children.
Evelyn Fearing, MFA, PhD
Vice President
Evelyn directs Leader Studies and serves as Executive Editor for the InSights Journal. She joined the team in 2019. She has a PhD in medieval English literature and an MFA in poetry. She is the author of Mortal Forms: Affect and Temporality in Early English Poetry.

Daniel DeWitt, PhD
Creative Director
Daniel has a PhD in Educational Leadership from Southern Seminary. He has served in faculty and executive roles at Southern Seminary and Cedarville University. He is a an illustrator and children’s book author. He and his wife April live in central Ohio with their four children. He posts regularly on his site Theolatte.com.
Taras Dyatlik
Director of Engagement for Ukraine
Taras earned his Master of Theology in New Testament from the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Leuven, Belgium. Taras provides critical leadership to our ongoing work in Ukraine. He lives in Rivne, Western Ukraine, with his family
Juliany González Nieves
Media Manager
Juliany has experience across a range of higher ed industry segments, including communications, and advancement and university relations. She earned an M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Juliany has collaborated with projects and initiatives from institutions such as the University of St. Andrews and The Paul G. Hiebert Center for World Christianity and Global Theology.
Daniel Owens
Consultant for Southeast Asia
Daniel has a PhD from Wheaton College and an MDiv from Trinity Evangelicla Divinity School. Prior to his current pastoral role at New Covenant Church in Naperville, Illinois, he taught at Hanoi Bible College and Singapore Bible College. He continues to be a resource for Hanoi Bible College, and to write for Vietnamese-speaking Christian readers. He and his wife Heather have two teenage sons.
Wageeh Mikhail, PhD
Director of Engagement with Islam
Wageeh joined Scholar Leaders in 2019 to guide the ministry in religions. Before joining Scholar Leaders, he was Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Christianity at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, Egypt. He has published and spoken widely on medieval Arab Christianity. He received a Leader Studies scholarship for his PhD at Birmingham. He and his wife have two sons.
Mariel De Luca Voth, EDD
Theological Education Consultant for Latin America & the Caribbean
Mariel is a native Argentine who together with her husband Steve Voth, lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has spent a lifetime in the world of Theological Education and is a qualified Theological Librarian. She is highly respected across Latin America and the Caribbean and is a regular facilitator at the Institutes for Excellence held throughout that region of the world.
Bill Tuininga

Bill is a graduate of Dordt College and Calvin Theological Seminary. He has served in leadership in various Christian Reformed churches in Canada. He retired in 2015. Bill and his wife Lin have five married children and 22 grandchildren.

Board Chair
David serves as Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages at the Biblical Seminary of Colombia. David and his wife Karen have six adult children and eleven grandchildren. David formerly served as the president of Overseas Council (USA).
Elie Haddad, PhD
Vice Chair
Elie is the former President of Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) in Beirut, Lebanon. He grew up in Sidon, Lebanon, before moving to Canada where he lived, worked and studied for fifteen years. He returned to Lebanon in 2005 to serve at ABTS.
Andrew Beunk
Board Member
Andrew and his wife Kim have three children: Colleen (married to Kevin), Andrea, and Jake. They also have two grandchildren (twins!). Andrew serves as the Lead Pastor of New Westminster Christian Reformed Church in Burnaby, BC.
Arthur Dubbledamk
Board Member
Arthur and his wife Alice live near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They have five adult children — all of whom are married — and twelve grandchildren. Arthur is the co-founder of Jireh Industries, an engineering and manufacturing business of which he is still actively involved though now on a semi-retired basis.
Lawrence Stalder
Board Member
Lawrence has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. He worked in management consulting in Calgary for several years until retirement in 2017. He holds a Project Management Professional designation from the PMI, and several computer-related designations. He and his wife Joy have two children, and three grandchildren.
